Investing in our future.

Haunted Hustle Cancelled

The LEF Board has examined the level of participation and decided to cancel this event this year.

We appreciate all the interest, but the number of participants signed up at this point is not at the level that we need to make the event a success.

If you have registered, we will be processing refunds today. It may take 2 or 3 business days to see that refund processed to your account. If you do not see the refund by Thursday, next week please contact our treasurer at leftreasurer@yahoo.com. Again, thank you for your support.

We are the Louisa Education Foundation

Founded in 2009 by a group of local citizens in Louisa County, the Louisa Education Foundation (LEF) is an educational nonprofit that engages community partners to fund and promote initiatives that enhance Louisa County Public Schools.

Our funding includes scholarships for students and grants for teachers and school programs that need additional support.

For Educators

We fund educator-driven instructional projects that inspire, educate, and engage students. By partnering closely with the community and Louisa County Schools, LEF funds initiatives that fall outside school budgets.

Looking for inspiration? Read about our previously funded projects here.

We encourage you to contact us by email and someone will contact you to discuss your project idea prior to applying.

For Students

We offer LEF-funded scholarships to graduating seniors and also partner with local businesses, organizations and individuals who offer a range of scholarship opportunities. LEF administrates those scholarships.

You can read more about all of these scholarship programs here.

The LEF consists of your friends, neighbors and community members who love our county and want to support the schools, teachers, and administrators who are educating our children.
